Best All-Inclusive Resorts for Families

I find these resorts to be some of the best all-inclusive resorts for families in the Caribbean. Fun is to be had from toddlers to teens and in between. If the kids are having fun so are us parents and/or grandparents.

An all-inclusive family resort is the way to go for a fun stress-free family vacation. So many activities. Kids love it! So much food. Teens love it! Now is the time to try that sport or activity that you have dreamed about. Don’t worry it’s included! Be adventurous!

Want luxury with your family resort then look no further. Where Sandals is all about couples, Beaches is all about the family. Beaches Negril in Jamaica has been rated the number 1 resort for families in the Caribbean. The Ocho Rios location is rated number 5. Just as deluxe if not more so is Beaches Turks & Caicos. It is rated one of the top 25 hotels for families in the World!

At Beaches, you will find certified nannies. Trust your little ones to be in capable loving hands. They are included every day of you stay from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

So many activities for the kids to make their own memorable vacation. How about Pirates Island water park, Xbox play lounge, beach Olympics, golf club(only at Ocho Rios) and a Choo Choo train (Turks & Caicos) Plus, the Caribbeans only surf simulator at the Turks & Caicos all-inclusive resort.

Babies and children alike will delight in spending time with their Sesame Street best friends. Including evening Sesame Street parades, stage shows, and more.

I didn’t forget the tweens and teens. They have their own special hangouts. There’s Club Liquid and Trench Town to get your game on. Also in the summer, there is an Island Impact volunteer program for teens (Thursdays during July and August).

Creativiva Caribbean introduces Voila featuring four live productions.  Not to be missed storytelling performances combining music, art, theatre, and acrobatics. This is exclusively at Beaches Turks & Caicos.

Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa

Coconut Bay Beach Resort is a premium all-inclusive resort in St Lucia. Splash is Coconut Bay’s family-friendly wing. Here’s where you will find St Lucia’s largest water park. The expansive water park is for adults and children alike. There is a lazy river, water slides, water playground and an activity pool for all to enjoy.

You’ll also find the Caribbean’s first paintball facility (additional charge, minimum of four guests). If you’d rather, have a challenging outdoor water sport. There’s a Windsurfing instruction facility at this resort (seasonal, fees apply)

Let’s not forget the little ones. They need some mini adventures too. Cocoland Kidz Klub offers a mini zip line, mini rock climbing wall, petting zoo, and more. How cool is that?

Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana

UPDATE – In the wake of suspicious deaths of tourists in the Dominican Republic, Dominican authorities along with the FBI are investigating. Until further notice, I would be very hesitant to travel to the Dominican Republic.

Best all-inclusive resorts for families must include sun and slime right? Well… let us ask the children.

Where else in the Caribbean can you kids take a slime making class? What other all-inclusive family resort has that? Or what about Character Dining with SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer or our friends from Paw Patrol. What about a TMNT turtle power breakfast where your family will meet Donatello, Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Raphael. Nickelodeon Resort is character central for those perfect selfie moments,

Plenty of daily supervised activities and nightly entertainment including family fiesta, dance parties and more.

100% non-smoking facility

Club Med CREACTIVE by Cirque du Soleil

A list for best all-inclusive resorts for families must include a Club Med. A lot of their resorts are family friendly. I chose Club Med CREACTIVE by Cirque du Soleil in Punta Cana for its uniqueness.

It offers a one of a kind immersive experience into the wondrous world of Cirque du Soleil. By the way, if you’ve never seen a show from Cirque du Soleil, you don’t know what you are missing. Just amazing!

Have you ever wanted to know what it feels like to do amazing circus acts here’s your chance. What other resort can you learn to perform circus acrobatics. How unique! The whole family can play and learn together. I like that. There’s a Grand Trapeze, Big Top, and areas for circus acrobatics, like high bungee, trampolines, etc…

Baby and Petit Club Med are a haven of happiness for your little ones. Ages four and up can learn circus, sports even a little football.

Tweens and teens have their own exclusive hideaways.  They can enjoy the circus, sports, dance, cooking lessons, hiking, camping, picnics, and more. Wow!

Jewel Runaway Bay Beach & Golf Resort

So many unique activities to get involved with at this all-inclusive family resort in Jamaica. That is if you can drag yourself away from the beautiful beach. Maybe after taking in beach Olympics and a glass bottom boat ride.

Red Ruby Ranch is for kids, tweens, and teens. Enjoy laser tag, cooking classes, Horticulture classes, horse grooming lessons, golf lessons, hayrides, beach bonfires, the list goes on and on.

What about princess and pirate makeovers, horse and carriage rides, magic shows, tie and dye(bring you own tee).

Talk about family fun, Mommy and me day spas, Mother/son and Father/daughter dances.

You’ll need a few vacations here to cover what this all-inclusive family resort has to offer.

Franklin D Resort and Spa

This resort in Jamaica has been fondly known as FDR since 1990. This resort would be the most modest on this list but they do have their advantages. Let’s face it they must be doing something right. They have been around since 1990 after all.

What they have are your own private nannies. Yes, that is right, your family will have their own personal vacation nanny. She’s available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There’s an additional charge for evening hours if she is needed. You will find her to be warm, attentive, and friendly. All ages are welcome. She can take them for a swim, accompany them to the playground or take them to one of the daily planned activities. Mom and Dad then are free to enjoy some time alone. Either relaxing on the beach, enjoying a massage or going on any of the exciting optional tours (fees may apply).

Personal nanny will keep your suite clean and your fridge stocked with your favorite snacks. She’s also your vacation assistant and will assist with special events like birthdays, reunions, etc…

One of the favorite activities for children is swimming. Here at FDR it’s not just about the pool. It’s about “Big Blue” (100 ft water slide). The children will be zipping down the slide, then running back to do it all again.

When tired of swimming there are glass bottom boat rides, tie and dye lessons, picnics, cooking classes, supervised teen trips, reggae dance classes, and more. Oh, I forgot “Goat Racing”. Yes, I did say goat racing.

In Conclusion

Why are these the Best All-Inclusive Resorts for Families? It’s for their unique options. Endless all-inclusive entertainment for the entire family. I’ve just begun to touch the surface of all the activities that are offered. These resorts truly love families. So many memories to be made by all.
